Young people from YMCA Dulverton Group attended the second YIF Youth Forum in Taunton.
The forum is designed to give young people from several organisations the opportunity to come together to explore different themes which have included services for young people in local areas; transport links, crime and youth culture. The organisation include, YMCA Mendip, YMCA Taunton, Minehead Eye, Young Somerset and YMCA Clevedon.
Damien Erangey, Youth and Community Manager said, “To see young people come together from so many areas to discuss mutual issues and ideas is a powerful thing. We can see young people empowering themselves, and we hope that this is taken back to the local areas with a passion and drive to try and change the things they want to”.
