This is an exciting opportunity to work on a new project within the scope of our partnership with Mid Devon District Council. The role will provide floating support for residents living in MDDC temporary accommodation at Ivor Macey House in Halberton for 20 hours a week, as well as our YMCA supported accommodation project in Cullompton for the other 17.5 hours per week.

This role would best suit an individual who is driven to motivate and influence young people into making positive progression. This role will involve close working with the Housing team at Mid Devon District Council; strong partnership working is essential.

We are looking for a professional and committed Accommodation and Support Deputy Manager. This is a new role to lead our Highbridge team of Accommodation and Support Enablers, who deliver accommodation for 56 placements across 3 sites offering, temporary, emergency and supported accommodation to single adults, couples and families.

The post holder will have lead responsibility for the Highbridge service including the line management and motivation of the staff team, ensuring excellent service quality, preparing reports, compiling data and accurate records. Weekend and rota working will be required.

The post holder will need strong interpersonal skills and be passionate about building professional, trusting and respectful relationships with residents, the staff team, and partners, such as the local authority Housing Team.
