YMCA Dulverton Group is a local community charity, delivering services to over 10,000 children, young people and families across Somerset and Devon.

Built on a social enterprise model, all income we generate goes directly back into funding our local community projects and initiatives, from supported housing to vulnerable 16-25-year-olds, to offering Apprenticeship opportunities to young people.

Our vision is ‘to be a leader in transforming communities so that all children, young people and families can truly belong, contribute and thrive.’

At YMCA Dulverton Group, we house and support people over the age of 16 with accommodation and other needs, enabling them to improve their wellbeing, gain skills and maximise their confidence so that they can go on to live independent and fulfilling lives. We are a well-established charity in Somerset, and at present provide over 235 bed nights every day. We are a key partner of Somerset and North Somerset Council in providing supported accommodation for the area.

Our work covers a wide range of areas, focusing on accommodation and housing advice, counselling, mentoring, health advice, volunteering and alternative education.

Committed to excellence

YMCA Dulverton Group has a track record of providing services to people with a range of needs across the county. Over many decades of experience, we have proved that we can adapt and grow in line with the needs of our community and the strategic priorities of the local authority, providing a consistent supply of high quality housing and effective support.

Over 300 people every year use our supported housing, training and wellbeing services.

In 2017 – 2018, our outstanding supported housing team helped 465 people to move on to more independent accommodation.
