Over 1000 students attended the Somerset Career Event at Somerset County Cricket Club in Taunton.
The Fair is brought by the South Somerset 14 – 19 Partnership and has become the biggest event of its kind in the region. With over 70 exhibitors including Armed Forces, FE Colleges, Universities, Training Providers and Employers, the event is a great opportunity to meet, talk to the experts and explore & discover future career opportunities.
HR Administrator, Sarah James represented YMCA Somerset Coast at the event, talking and engaging with young people looking for apprenticeship opportunities within the YMCA.
Sarah added, “This was a great opportunity to showcase YMCA Somerset Coast and promote our value of believing in young people. We are a positive, forward thinking organisation that wants to make a different to young people so they can thrive in their future.”
