We have been using a variety of buildings such as our own George Williams Centre, and we have been very lucky to be given the chance to use Prospects conference room in Taunton.
The workshop consists of a different topic each session which last roughly 90 minutes. Topics covered include housing, budgeting, help with benefits, looking after your property, debt and many more.
We have been very lucky to have Lisa Godfrey, Lodging Scheme manager, come along and speak with the residents in Sedgemoor so she can understand what there looking for in a home. It also lets residents know the expectations and standards she delivers with her landlords.
We are hoping to continue the workshops throughout the year and inviting many speakers including landlords, CAB, the housing teams to give their input into the Tenant ready Scheme.
