Young people across Somerset and Mid-Devon will be leading social action projects from Monday 28th October, as Youth and Community Action Fortnight begins. With support from five charitable organisations, young people from local communities will be working together to create social change as part of an effort to showcase the positive impact of youth services.
Thursday 10th October was Mental Health Awareness Day and the YMCA DG team took part in WHOLE HOUR to support their own mental wellbeing. WHOLE HOUR is part of the national campaign ‘I am Whole’ which aims to raise awareness of mental health and support sufferers into finding the right advice and help.
On Saturday 5th October, the George Williams Centre in Bridgwater opened its doors for the YMCA Bridgwater open day!

YMCA Dulverton Group is excited to be extending their Early Years Provision this month having acquired a new setting in the heart of Cullompton, Young Ones Day Nursery. The Nursery will join existing YMCA Dulverton Group settings in Somerset and North Somerset, and will be the first located in Devon.
