YMCA Dulverton Group have today launched their Summer Daycamps programme for 2020 which will be located at Yew Trees in Tarnock and Barley Wood in Wrington.

YMCA Daycamps will begin on Monday 13th July running for seven weeks to offer children from reception to year six a fun, action packed school holiday.

This year, activities will include climbing, paddle boarding and team games to coincide with themed weeks such as Space Week and Animal Planet.

Steph Parsons, Operations Manager at YMCA Dulverton Group said: “Seeing children of all ages enjoying the outdoors, challenging themselves and making new friends is great. The teams providing daycamps are dedicated to giving the best possible experiences for the children, even in these challenging times.

”We have taken every precaution when planning daycamps this year, making time to ensure that all equipment and frequently used facilities are thoroughly cleaned in line with Government guidance as well as having hand washing stations outside and keeping groups of children small, to minimise the amount of people in one place at the same time.

“Things might be a little different this year, but we believe that YMCA Daycamp weeks will provide children with something exciting and fun to take part in whilst the schools are closed over the summer and will bring some structure to this otherwise challenging time.”

Bookings are now being taken for Summer Daycamp weeks at both Yew Trees and Barley Wood with prices starting at £115 for a week programme to include 5 activity packed days of fun for children aged four to eleven.
