Wooden House Nursery in Tiverton is set to host a series of Stay and Play sessions this Autumn.

The nursery, set in the Knightshayes Estate, will be opening its doors to families in a series of themed Stay and Plays. The themes are all about getting outdoors and exploring, no matter the weather! From ‘Welly Wednesday’ to ‘Mini Beasts’ the themes aim to encourage families to explore outdoors, whilst learning about the nursery. The team have created a series of activities centered around each theme and have both indoor and outdoor fun planned!

The Wooden House Nursery team will also be on hand to talk to each family about the nursery, so welcome new families to come along. A member of the team said: “We’re really excited to be hosting some stay and plays at Wooden House Nursery. We love seeing families coming in and having a go at some new activities and exploring our lovely garden. We can’t wait to welcome families into our nursery this Autumn!”

Wooden House Nursery became part of YMCA Dulverton Group earlier in 2022, joining a fantastic group of Early Years settings. With nurseries across Somerset and Mid-Devon, YMCA Early Years is lucky to benefit from fantastic outdoors space at every setting. The first Stay and Play at Wooden House Nursery will be on Thursday 13th October at 1pm with a Mini Beasts theme. ‘Welly Wednesday’ will then be on 2nd November at 1pm. The days are free to attend and the team are hoping to see both new and existing families joining in the fun. For information about the Stay and Plays, please visit our events page here.
